i have no complains with amazon, 5 stats for them,but be sure to test this product as soon as u recive it cos some of this printerrs have an internal error a6404 which means the inbuild memory of the printer is damaged and cannot be replaced only option is to send it back to the company and get a new one,,,

It's a beautiful machine, other folks have had very good luck with it. I purchased it with high hopes. Unfortunately, on only the second use, the paper guide jammed and became unusable.

This can happen, I know, with any complicated device. I was just on the verge of ordering refill inks (which are very expensive, incidentally).

I recently purchased the MP950 for office and personal use. Great news, the product is cost effective, easy to use, and I have produced professional quality catalogs in house. The photos are incredible and the scanner is top notch. Although I am not currently using the negative feature of this product, I chose this Canon Multifunction unit for it's scanner and high end print quality. Clear individual ink tanks save money, even IF I do large print jobs since it has a large smudge proof black ink for text plus six other colors. We make our color proofs on the printer then send them out for higher volume print jobs. I love this printer!!! FYI: This product doesn't have fax, as we have fax machines in our office, however, with winfax or rightfax, I could fax from this printer, or you can use the free fax program included with Windows XP - it's a secret...Canon has consistenty been tops in PC Magazine/PC World/Consumer Reports for the last few years, they have forced the competition to change how they sell printers. Always check the cost of your ink and how much ink is in the tanks. Canon usually provides more for your money. Also, price your inks, many retailers sell the ink for more than suggested retail...Amazon is actually several few bucks cheaper...You replace each color as it runs out...cost savings in the long run...The truth is out there...

I bought this product hoping to fix a minor scratch in a Windows installation CD that was preventing me from installing it. I followed the instructions in the book, and put it through both the buffing and repair cycles. After it was finished, the disc didn't work any better than before, and there were circular marks left on the disc from the process. I tried it again and again as was suggested in the instructions, and it never fixed the disc to workable condition. Afterwards, I tried other CDs to see if my Windows disc merely didn't fall into the "99%" of CDs that this product supposedly fixess, and this machine failed to fix them either. Don't waste your money on this product.

This fixed my favorite season of Friends disc that was scratched and skipped. I love it and will continue to use it on my scratched discs!

I received the lens adapter but there was no info on how to use it. It screws in over the regular ZOOM lens but offers absolutely nothing to the use of the KODAK DX6490. I suspect there are additional filters or other accessories that might make the adapter useful and hope to find out what they may be in the near future. The lens adapter by itself, doesn't seem to add anything to the use of the camera without something else ???

I found out by trial and error that you must remove the adaptor to get a satisfactory result with the flash. While the lens adaptor doesn't seem to impede the flash it does impede the sensors (exposure meter) to set the brightness on the reflected image.

This adapter works well in natural light settings but doesn't work when using the built in flash on the camera. There's a design flaw that causes underexposed pics when using the flash. It is a great add on for using filters and protecting the lens otherwise.

I am not the only one. After using this camera for maybe 6 months, and being annoyed by the delay between pictures, now the darn thing won't even power up! I've replaced battery after battery, and wondered, are ALL the batteries in my house dead (taken from remotes, CD players, MP3 players, you name it)? But now I see, it's some sort of defect. Is there any remedy? I didn't purchase a warranty. Even if I had it would have expired. It seems that this problem occurs after a certain amount of usage. I would recommend against this camera, if not for the delay in pictures, then for the fact that after 6 months it is useless. What a waste of money. NO MORE NIKON for me!

I bought this entry size camera mainly due to the low price. While in the end with a 1 gig sd card and a case I was left with a 300 dollar receipt.

Being new to the digital age I would recommend this entry size digital camera, if you're on a budget. It is highly recommended that you: READ THE MANUAL!

If you're like me, a stubburn individual when it comes to technology, while being techy and all, I have a tendency to try things 'hands-on' at first before refering to a manual as a last resort. A hands-on approach to a camera like this is not a good idea. The camera is bundled with many great features. Though there is a big problem with any entry level digital camera... and that being hand shake. Being perfectly still is a must when striking poses. Though it does feature an ISO in sports mode which I have found to be quite handy. Auto mode is also very nice. It also includes many other modes which one could find usefull at rareities. Battery life is decent, and pictures, if you have a stiff wrist can be very pleasant. 4 mp is plenty for a novice to an intermediate pointographer.

An image stablizer would be nice in this camera or any other camera really... but then again, you get what you pay for.

Just a fair warning to all out there considering this card. After purchasing this card it worked great. Then in the middle of my friend's wedding the card no longer was readable by my camera. I could not believe it! When I got home I put the original card in the camera and it worked fine. I reformatted this card and still the camera could not read the card. Not worth the money for only one years use.

I used this memory card as the second of two used to take pictures at a high class wedding. All 526 pictures of the 587 capacity of the 512 MB card were retrieved without any problems. When it came time to retrieve the pictures from this 1GB card, only 294 were available out of the 800 or so I thought I had taken. I fould a software program for my computer that claimed to be able to recover lost data on flash memory cards. BadCopy Pro found 806 pictures on that card that normal handling only found 294. All indications is that the card is faulty. The price was cheap and now I think I know why.

What can you say about memory? Well it works and my camera seems to like it. Using it in a Canon 10D. My camera will take bursts of photos and the card gets written to properly and quickly. I haven't measured the time. I realize this isnt an 80x card or whatever, but I don't have an 80x camera, so it suits me fine. I have used it at sporting events and haven't missed a shot because of the card being written to, so I think it does as it should. I have several other Kingston cards, starting all the way back with I think a 32mb chip, then a 256 then a 512 and now a gig chip. I think they are a good value and I have even washed one in my pants pocket, run it through a drier and it still works, not that I'm trying to promote using your memory like pocket lint, but it's good to know they are build well!

Picked this drive up to have something to back-up my machine to. I'm using a G5 iMac and find that the LaCie drive is quieter than the mac (which says a lot). I've been using it for about a week now and have the following pros and cons:

Pros:
1. Quiet
2. Small
3. Fun colors and simple design
4. Power button and power down when not in use

Cons:
1. Shine on plastic casing shows scratches and dust easily
2. Power brick

Not sure if it's a con, but it took about 50 minutes to transfer about 60Gb of video to the drive.

I got this product because i needed extra storage to put my itunes on. my laptop hard drive is only 80G and it was almost full. i have a vast amount of cd's collected over the years which i have been transfering onto itunes.

I found the product very easy to use. Simple plug and play. My laptop picked it up straight away. No problem.

I now have all my photos, music and psp movie files on the external storage with loads of space to spare. my pc performance has improved and i am thinking about buying another one and using it on a home network i am setting up.

Attractive and quiet it adds fun to my desktop. Although one reviewer said that this drive stays on all the time, it doesn't have to since it has a power button on the back of the unit. I can't review the backup software because I'm using another brand currently. I love it.

I have been taking photos since I was [...] and only recently began to take this once in a blue moon hobby to heart. I went out and bought a new digital camera, learned how to use that, and then invested in an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 printer. Although never trained, people say I have a good eye which I believe is true, or else I wouldn't bother. I had been printing my photos on the Epson Luster photo paper and was very happy with the results, but wanted something softer and more artsy for the photos I chose to convert to watercolors. I read the previous review on this type of paper and decided to give it a try. I am overwhelmed with the results. If you want good quality artistic photos, USE THIS PAPER. When they first print out they are somewhat disappointing, but low and behold, as the paper and ink mesh - all I can say is OMIGOD! Tremendous. Buy it try it. You'll love it and you'll end up signing up for the next art fair!

I do my own fine art prints and this paper works fantastic. I use the Epson 2200 and epson has custom settings built in already for this paper for maximum printing. Highly reccommended!!!

So don't waste your time ordering this! Amazon.com needs to update their site and no longer offer this item (at least not through J&R Music and Computer World). In night mode its not too good, but not is bad.

You can learn how to use this camera in 10 minutes---and this is the first one I have ever purchased. Nothing fancy---it is a very reasonable palm size camera with the zoom and power buttons easily accessible to the person who is filming.
