I bought this mic for six dollars (excl shipping) and found it to be useless. There is too much interference and noise. It is not even fit for voice chat. May be I got a bad piece, but I will not bother to get it replaced.

I haven't used this mic to make phone calls yet, but it definitely works. My system picks up the audio very well, thank you, and plays it louder, the higher I amplify my sound. All I need now is a PC calling program, and I'll be phoning my friends over the internet. With the price of land lines and mobile phones, the sooner I figure this out, the better.

This is a great microphone! My second best Christmas gift! Cheap price, and works very good. Competible with my Windows XP!

Disappointing

These walkie-talkies disappointed in these two areas:

1. Living in an area that only has buildings 2-floors in height, I could not get
these Walkie-talkies to transmit any further then only ONE MILE.

I truly didn't expect to get the manufacturers claim of a 10-mile range,
but I expected at least 7 miles, or 5 miles... not ONE MILE.

2.The sound quality on these units is rather poor. The person on the other end sounds muffled.

A serious 2-way radio? Not this unit.

Buy it as a toy instead.

1) Clear signal.
2) SCRM mode - real privacy mode, not a filter like other radios.
3) NOAA alert - really works. Checks NOAA every 7 seconds.
4) Volume controls right under fingers.
5) Better charger options (direct or base) than other radios.
6) Orange Color - easy to find in backpack.
7) Good price.

Complaints - 10 miles, dream on. 2-3 actual, but all radios
claim 10 miles, delivering 2-3.

The product works great and the service was fast!

I have purchased 2 of these for mulitple display use within 5 days apart. I have no Idea, if the website sell imperfect products or X2gen (blk version) is very low quality monitor.
One of them have several dead pixel, other one have dark grey horizontal line going across the screen ( I didn't noticed in the beginning. {anyway they both are permenent}

Previously I bought Silver version, same company different model had absolutly no flaud.

I did heard about LCD having few/serveral dead pixel, but this is very first time for me. I have purchase at least 7 different type of LCD before, and it is very unpleasent experience.
Can't return it, I don't save boxes.

I purchased this for $159.99 after mail in rebate. For the price you can't go wrong. We'll see how long it takes to get the rebate money. If I have any issues I will report back.
