A good winding makes this thing last and last. I haven't used it long enough to know how long it lasts, but i listened to it for 10 minutes on its inital charge before i put it into my emergy kit. Handle is very easy to crank, highly recommended

When I purchased my satellite radio the mount that came with the system didn't work with my car. I drive and infinity G35 and for all those who drive them know that the dashboard is curved thus making it impossible to mount anything on it. I did some research and found this suction-cup mount kit and it works great. I highly recommend this product for anyone that 1. drives and infinity G35 or 2. just wants a cleanly mounted system.

This mount really holds to the window and is easy to release when necwssary. It is very versitile but could use at least one more swivel point.

This device was very easy to set up and use, but beware of a few caveats: first, I found the 88.1 and 88.3FM options a total bust - the reception was very poor. However, the 900MHz link works fine, but it means that you have to use the receiving unit as well as the base unit. Second, the sound quality is satisfactory for voice-grade audio, which is what I was looking for, but it is only so-so for music. Finally, the manufacturer has inexplicably not included a volume control or headphone jack on the receiving unit. A trip to Radio Shack took care of the headphone connection, but I have to go back to the source (in my case a computer streaming BBC Radio 4) to adjust the volume.

Works great to play MP3s from the computer to the stereo if the A/V line is plugged directly into the stereo. Not so great if you try to use the FM transmission on a boombox or radio.

old technology. the longer you listen to it the worse it sounds.mine is now in the boneyard of the junk drawer.go for soething like netgear. the sound quality difference is the difference between hyper drive and sublight. i would revise my srar rating to one star but amazon won't allow it.

It is made well, and is strong enough to protect your Skyfi while carrying it in a brief case, etc., where it could get scratched otherwise.

This compact case is a perfect fit for the Skyfi. There is a padded piece that keeps the remote and receiver separated. I only wish there were other color choices, but I am overall very pleased with this case.

I've purchased nearly 20 different radio-pedometers and this one is by far the best. It has decent radio reception, three pre-set stations, and up and down radio scan buttons. Its multiple functions are easy to use, including steps, distance and calories burned. The clip holds pretty well to the belt. The settings are easy enough to change that I don't have to get out my manual to remember what to do.

My complaints are fairly trivial but if improved upon, would earn it a 5 star rating:

1) The battery cover is needlessly difficult to re-insert.
2) The headphones are not exactly a standard size. After breaking mine, I had to test several different products to find one that fit well.
3) The step counter is accurate for running but not for walking.
4) To ensure that the unit records distance accurately, you should be able to set the stride length to the 1/2 inch.
5) With first unit I bought, several of the buttons stopped working within a few weeks. Brookstone cheerfully handed me a new one no questions/receipts asked. For that one, the pedometer was terribly inaccurate. Again, they gave me a new one no questions asked.

The radio has a good AM and FM tuner and its nice being able to tune in .05 Mhz increments (e.g. 89.45 Mhz for our local PBS radio station). My C Crane radio has spent almost its whole life on the refrigerator, with probably only 8 trips to live by the washing machine where I fold my laundry, and work on bicycle parts.

Despite the fact that I seldom move this radio, the LCD display went bad after 18 months and now I cannot see anything while tuning. Moreover, one of the springs in the battery compartment broke off and now its quite difficult to remove and change batteries. And, this is after recharging the batteries maybe 10 times total in the life of the radio.

Tuner quality gets a 5. Tunes like the $130 radio that it is.
Build quality gets a 1. Built like a $13 radio, seriously.
overall quality is 2.5, which I rounded down to two stars.

I feel bad that my mom, a starving window on a low fixed income, shelled out $150 to give me this radio as a christmas gift, and the display failed so quickly after I got it. There are more reviews of this radio associated with the black version, which is the same thing.

This radio is well built, and of good quality, however you will probably want to consider the external ferrite antenna with your purchase. Living in an area where radio signals aren't that challenged, nightime reception of even local stations is marginal. The reason I bought this unit is because it is touted as a "radio fan's selection", especially for AM usage. Yes it does pull in stations from a few hundred miles away, but I'm still confused as to why I will have to purchase the optional antenna for $99 to be satisfied, and reduce signal fade.

The CC Crane Radio was o.k but not what I was looking for so I returned it. Customer service was A-ok!
