One fantastic TV
I just finished my new media room. I'm not a gadjet guy, but I did some real shopping for this purchase. I ordered my 46 Bravia from Amazon and saved a bundle, it's my first internet purchase. My son insisted on Amazon, even after I found what looked like better prices on other sites, until I got the real delivered total. My set was a few days late. Tracking my purchase, I realized something was wrong, one call to Eagle found it sitting in Huntsville, they loaded it on a van and dilivered it later the same day in Birmingham. Just installed, the picture was outstanding right out of the box. I used the plugs provided from my cable company, I honestly believe all the hype over monster cables and other brands are just hype, a view the Charter technician passed on who installed it and had me return the expencive cables I purchased. Get one important thing: The BIG difference between the picture on this set and a plasma, is the picture is FANTASTIC even when viewing non HD stations. My girlfriend had just purchased the Samsung 42 plasma, and in non HD viewing the two are not even close, The LCD Bravia is far better, something you wont appreciate until you realize how often your not viewing in HD. The faces are clear and colors are sharp and bright, and on a plasma they are blurry. When shopping at a retail store, you are not getting to see the difference because everything is shown in HD..Believe me, it really matters. I'm adding a computer to my Sony TV for downloading music wirelessly from my sofa. I happen to have enough space behind my wall to have my 36 inch floor standing Klipsch speakers installed flush mounted, along with a new center channel, awesome looking and sound unlike anything I could have imagined, even high quality in wall speakers dont come close. Very deep, rich, alive sound. I found an antique "Victrola" hand cranked record player to place under the TV and house all my electronics out of sight, pretty cool setup! Good luck with your search, Jeff in Birmingham Al.

Incredible LCD
This TV is simply incredible. You have to play around with the settings a bit to get it fine tuned but once it is set, the picture is incredible. Service and delivery were top notch. The freight company pulls it out of the box and tests before they release it to you so you'll have to be around to accept the delivery. By far, the best LCD solution out there!

Power brick died after 15 minutes; took 6 days to replace
When I opened the box I was surprised to discover a 2x3x6-inch external power brick, something not mentioned in the "What's in the Box" section above.

Shortly after finishing setup, the power brick died. Next morning I phoned the Sharp help number and spoke with a very pleasant and helpful person in Illinois. After hearing the symptoms and asking a few questions, she agreed that the power brick was the problem, and said they'd send another one out, and to expect it in "4 to 5 business days". I asked if there was any way to expedite the shipment and she said she'd try, but couldn't guarantee anything. Two business days later Sharp shipped the new part by UPS ground. It arrived 6 days after reporting the problem. I think that's unacceptable.

Once powered, this set has a picture that's excellent. The remote is rather oddly shaped, but feels good in the hand. The remote is easy to operate and provides many useful features.

Excellent regular TV
This 20" Sharp has regular NTSC resolution, so it's best suited for regular cable and broadcast, although it'll handle digital contents with aplomb, looking better than most other LCD or CRT sets. (I'm not sure why Amazon's description calls this EDTV; to me EDTV means 800x600 resolution.) The picture quality is where Sharp's LCDs shine: the colors are rich at default, and can be pleasantly saturated when you increase the color level. The set itself is quite stylish and makes a great fashion statement. Even though the price is on the high side, you get much better reliability and picture quality than cheaper brands. Enjoy this nice LCD TV!

The best of 4:3 aspect LCD TV
20" is the biggest one you can find for 4:3 LCD TV. Sharp Aquos is famous, one of two most famous in the market right now (the other is Panasonic). However, this one is the best since very cheap price meets the best qualify. Got it for $490. I bought 4, 2 for family and other 2 for my father's collegues :)).
Thanks Amazon for cheap price.

Strong unit for mounting
Very sturdy and functional unit. Swings effortlessly and easy to install. Mount this into a stud using a stud finder, a socket wrench and a level (making sure the pilot holes are straight), and you save a lot on installation. Mounting the TV on this unit is best with two people and know the layout of the screws and insertion points before you dangle the TV in the air for mounting. One final step before mounting is to plug all of your cables into the back of your TV set. This unit covered most of the input jacks on my set and taking it back off the mount to make adjustments is just too bothersome and risky. This may not be a problem if your set has jacks out of the range of where this mount need to be screwed in.

Does the job
Great range of movement for my lcd. Pretty easy installation too. Does the job fine for my 26" Aquos.

Nice TV, good for DVD but not ideal for broadcast TV
I have this TV in my bedroom system. It is a nice TV with very good picture quality. I have it connected to an OPPO DV-970HD upconverting DVD player (I have a review on that item too - it's great). The picture is just fantastic. To really do just to this great panel a good upconverting DVD player is a must.

The reason I give it one less star is because broadcast TV does not look as good as on my old TV. The picture looks more grainly and snowy that before the upgrade. Using my old DVD player with S/Video connection, the picture was not as good either. However feeding it true HD signal, either from the upconverting DVD player or Comcast HD cable, the picture is just unbeatable.

Wonderful
The box is beatiful
Images are vivid, bright and sharp!
Wery easy adjust to my liking.
Sound fantastic!
Well be better if the buttons on the remote be bigger.

Highly recomend.

Sharp Aquos are the best by far!
This is my 3rd Sharp Aquos I have purchased and I couldn't be any more pleased. They are the leader and inovators in LCD's and it shows in the quality of their products. Their customer service is also great if you have any questions.

Very satisfied with TV.
This was my first purchase of a LCD HDTV and I did quite a bit of research before I brought. I live in a fairly small condo so I didn't want some thing that would overwhelm the living room so I decided that a 32" was the way to go. I went to Best Buy, Sears,CC,etc. and for the money Samsung's picture was far superior than all the others on display except for Sony's but was real close, the cost difference(large) did not justify buying the Sony.I came close on buying the LN-S3251D(a little higher priced) because of the higher contrast ratio but didn't like the high black glossy finish (reflections, fingerprints) also I didn't like the speaker placement under the screen, I liked the way the speakers were on the sides of the LN-S3241D, I think it makes the screen size look bigger. Setup was a piece of cake, I used a HDMI cable (Belkin AV Silver)from my cable box to the TV also I used a HDMI cable to hook up my surround sound system to the TV, that's another reason I purchased this model 2 HDMI hookups.I brought from Amazon.com because of the great price(free shipping) and no hassel's to buy extended warranty's, cables, etc then wondering if your going to get what you ordered because you didn't buy anything extra. I love the UPS tracking, I followed it all the way to my door, I knew exactly when it would be here.It arrived in perfect shape no damage, no dead pixels, I had it up and running in less than an hour.I don't think you can go wrong with this model, it's a good looking quality built TV.

Sweet!
The Samsung LNS3241D is just what I was looking for and am very pleased with the purchase. Setup was fairly simple and it has all of the inputs and outputs that you could need. Setup is intuitive. I like the different picture and sound settings you can preset. Image quality is fantastic, especially with HD! Even the analog channels are improved. I am very happy with this purchase and with the price I got through Amazon.

Great picture
I went into my local Circuit City expecting to buy the Sony WEGA 42" LCD rear projection after months of research. While it is hard to trust these retailers with proper calibration of the picture, the Samsung LNS3241D 32" LCD blew away the Sony and the Sharp AQUOS 32" LCD (my second choice). The 3000:1 contrast ratio is one of the highest available. The picture is extremely bright...colors are brilliant, great whites, pretty good blacks. SD picture is ok...much better than my previous Samsung 50" rear projection hdtv but not the best. HD picture is awesome-amazing detail and clarity. I am hooked up via component cables and can't wait for my HDMI cable/Monster Power Center to arrive. My only gripe with the picture (and it is a minor one) is that the image is so clear you can see a bit of a blur in fast-moving objects-apparently this is common with the LCD technology. Sound is so-so but if you're spending this much on a TV then buy some speakers for God's sake. If you want to pay $1500 more for a Sony XBR, go ahead, but for the money this TV is pretty sweet. I paid around 1275 at CC after 10% coupon and now Amazon has it for about 100 less.

Great Next-Gen Player
Was going to wait until the format wars were over but after hearing all the great feedback from users of the HD-A1/XA1 I couldn't resist. Picture quality is amazing on HD-DVDs and the upconversion ability makes some standard DVD's look like they are HD. The load times are not near as bad as some claim. The wait is really a non issue, since I am in no immediate rush to start watching a movie. I think I can wait a few extra seconds. Toshiba has already come out with a few firmware upgrades and fixed many of the initial problem issues some had. If you want the best quality picture on your HD display. This is it. Would of given it 5 stars but with a 1st generation player there is always room for improvement.

A Defining Moment In Home Entertainment!!

I have owned this player for 2 months now and it is a AMAZING piece of machinery. The player is slower than a standard dvd player but after you see the picture you will never care about load times again.Toshiba has been nothing short of top notch with costumer service, with already 3 firmware upgrades to date!
If you have a HDTV starved for HD content you need this player! I could go on all day about how HD DVD is better than Blur-ray but most of us who have done our research know that Blu Ray is all about broken promises and greed. I am very much looking forward to King Kong, Batman Begins, Lord Of The Rings and the Matrix trilogy on HD DVD this fall, Don't miss out!

Amazing
I recently purchased this HD-DVD player and all i can say is that it is amazing. It is the best investment i have ever made to my home theatre. The quality of Chronicles of Riddick is simply amazing. The load times are a little bit longer then dvd but so what...the picture quality you get at an affordable price is way better. I also looked at Blu-Ray and was quite disappointed after looking at the picture. It was a worse picture at a higher price. Seems Samsung and Sony really messed that up.

Now i have all my friends over and they are all impressed and want a HD-DVD player. I could not be happier.

BTW to those who say blu-ray is better because of 1080p is not true. It is not true 1080p do some research and you will see.

- Only one(1) HDMI not Two(2)

Hot, Sexy, and a Great Picture Too
This is a fine looking tv. When it arrived the delivery men took it out of the box and set it up for me which was a nice service. I was very suprised at it's high glossy black finish but I immediately fell in love with it. It gets oohs and aahs from all my friends that have seen it so far. I have the samsung upconversion dvd player hooked up to it and the picture is incredible. I haven't got the HD cable box from the cable company yet but I am looking so forward to seeing the HD cable channels on this TV. My only complaint (and it's not that big of a deal) is that when the dvd is playing the volume goes down quite a bit as compared to the tv volume.

What a pleasure to tired old eyes!!!
I ordered this tv from Amazon on Wednesday morning, and it arrived on Friday using only the free Amazon standard shipping option. I had been agonizing for several weeks about upgrading my television viewing. This was a major purchase for me and I spent hours on the web looking at reviews for LCD and Plasma televisions and suffered from major electronics confusion. Plasma looked good, but I worried about the "burn" problem with plasma screens. LCD didn't have these problems but offered "trail problems" with motion. What size to get?? I had a 20 inch Toshiba bought 4 years ago. I thought that the 32 inch size would be overkill for me, but after looking at the available plasma and LCD televisions at local retailers, I found that the 37 inch and 40 inch televisions were not only wider, but SIGNIFICANTLY larger in the vertical dimension of the larger sets. This made the 32 inch sets not very attractive to me.
Now the thing that finally sold me on Samsungs product was the DNIE technology which effictively solves the trail problem on LCD television sets, at least in my opinion. I just don't think that you can go wrong with a set like this. It has completely blown my mind in the last hour. I have seen detail that never existed on any previous set that I have owned, or watched for that matter. The colors are absolutely wonderful, so vibrant and rich, they are a joy to view.
The set was easy to set up, and I am still learning about it, but I am convinced that each day will bring a little more joy from this technological marvel
Amazon "ROCKS", price, delivery speed, and ease of purchase are 10 out of 10 on the scale for this great televison.
UPS did a great job of getting me the tv very very quickly, and got it up the steps to my front door with zero defects or damage. I am a happy camper.

Samsung LNS3251D 32" Wide LCD HDTV
Hi, man this tv is off the hook, i have a lcd 27 size hd and it have 500 contrast ratio, and now this new one i got, have 4000.1contrast ratio and man now i know what it mean by looking at it. The pic is way clear and playing xbox360 man is off the hook, hmm I think i sad that before, lol. Ok now this the thing i don't like the burn in whiching thing in still image like games man that suck how come it have a game mode i think to play game but, lol is always a but damm why, but any way if you play the games more than 2 hours with a still image. it will get a burn in and thats not good and i call samsung to find some info have to in void this problems and you know what they say don't play vedio game, i find that funny it have a game mode and they say if you love this tv if you want this tv to last long don't play games on it.But this is a problems for all lcd tust u have one and it have a burn in I still use it but it sucks. I hope in 2 years they have a new lcd that won't have this problems. To me this what i think Dlp hd tv is good for whiching movies and lcd tv is game for games look much better if you as me.But i do love this tv but you have to be careful how long you playing games on it.I hope i help some how, if you ask me i tell you think buy a 26 sze lcd it still will look good and use it for games if thats what you like. if you going to use it for movies "only" get 32 size. That if you want this tv so bad like me that you most buy but save money tust i know later is going to be a better lcd out there, "If you ask me"lol
bye and this is joe aka JoeRated R thats my tag name for xbox 360 you can check me out there and chat and i can tell you more about this tv. bye

superb
Have had this TV for two weeks with Dish HD service. HD picture is truly amazing. I do not have another display to compare it against, but I am very satisfied with this Samsung. Sound is nothing special, but that is to be expected with integrated speakers. Ample connections, and convenient 1/8" stereo inputs for PC connectivity. One thing to note is that the digital connection (HDMI) results in much better picture quality than even component, so if possible, use all digital connections.

Stunning picture
You will be glued to this TV! I just got my Monster Ultra800 HDMI cable yesterday and even though I'm a Monster skeptic, I got a great deal and the picture is a little better than the components I had hooked up. Whites are awesome, blacks are stunning and the best I've seen...the 4000:1 contrast ratio is one the of the best out there. SD is surprisingly good and HD is as close to perfect as you're gonna get, to the point where I find myself watching random shows on HD such as "Carribean Escapes" because the picture is so amazing. I have seen the Sony XBR's and I have to say that I can't notice any difference...the Samsung is just as good for much less $$. I can't comment on DVD or XBOX because I haven't used either with this TV yet....but this is one of the best LCD sets I have ever seen. I bought the lns3241d at Circuit City initially then saw the top of the line version lns3251d for less $$ so I took it back and exchanged it for the 51. If you do buy from a Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. make sure you talk them down. This was selling for 1700 at CC and when I took my first set back they didn't want to lose my business and gave me the better one for around 1350-at cost (supposedly). Take in some comparison prices from Amazon and Pricegrabber and save yourself $400 or so...although the price right now on Amazon is unbeatable.

Pocket size, excellent clarity and incredibly simple!!
I just purchased the Small Wonder a couple of days ago and I can't believe how simple it is. Our kids (age 9 and 11) love it's simplicity and the ability to take instant videos. It is incredibly easy to use and as small as a compact digital camera so we will be able to take much more candid videos while traveling on an upcoming trip to Ecuador without that intrusive feeling of a larger video camera. It is unbelievably easy to flip open the USB plug, insert it into the computer and instantly load the videos. No disk to load...its all included within the "Small Wonder". I never thought I'd see the day when you could fit a video camera into your shirt pocket. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially a traveler!!

Great color, portability and manageability!
The playback color is very crisp and clear.
The buttons are very simple and easy to use.
Downloading to the computer is no problem; you can use either the long USB cord, or just pop out the USB plug on the side. It goes back into the side when you're done.
No disc needed to download the viewing program; once you plug in the computer to download video, the program downloads.
It comes with two AA batteries and a free video DVD offer.
A memory card can be purchased, but you get 30 minutes without a card, so that's good enough.
Overall, it's small and lightweight, and I highly recommend it for anyone. Heck, senior citizens and anyone not up on technology can use this easily.
