Not recommended for all daySound quality is good, and it's fine for occasional use, but I need a headset that I can wear for hours at a time - this one is just too uncomfortable.
It's okay, but nothing extraordinary. The sound quality for the earpiece has never given me any problems. Ocassionally, the microphone is too quiet for the person on the other end.
My biggest complaint is I can't situate the microphone very close to my mouth. It hangs way out to one side. And it won't fit snugly around my ear, so any movements make the whole thing wobble around. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust it.
If you will be using this headset from time to time and not for hours a day, I would recommend it for the price and quality. Otherwise, if you intend to use it more, I would recommend spending more money to get something better designed.

Good Voice quality.
Only drawback is, the headset hurts the ear in certain positions.

Buyer BewareThe idea of this is great. The light box part is fine (although I would prefer a white background to blue and grey) and the package is slick. It's true you get what you pay for though. The lamps start heating up quickly and smell horribly and cannot be turned off without almost burning your hand. There are extensive warning notes all over the instructions about fire...they must know it runs too hot. Also, the 'camera stand' is awkward and worthless. Just use a regular tripod if you need to get this for a cheap, temporary solution.
Works exactly as intended.I have never written a review on Amazon before, and the reason is I have never felt the need. But there really isnt a ton of information out there about this, so I figured a few words may help someone else looking to purchase the SIB-100.
First of all, I bought this item mainly to take pictures of merchandise to sell on eBay and my website. I unpacked it, and without even glancing at the 1 page "manual" I set it up and was taking pictures within minutes. It's very easy to set up. (Look at the picture, then set up. It's a two-step process really.)
I have been taking pictures with it of all sorts of things all night and must say I am mightly impressed. (You can see some of the pictures I took under "customer images")
This item is not designed for your DSLR!. The camera support is not sturdy enough to hold it. However, it works like a champ for my mini-digital olympus 500. The camera stand adjusts in any way you can think of to get just the shot angle just the way you want it.
The backdrop does have a crease in it, howver I noticed I was able to diminish the crease by limiting the depth of field. (using a longer focal length and moving the camera away from the subject)
Other than that minor gripe, this will work prefectly for my needs. The lights get HOT! (As do all photo lamps) so be careful, best just to let them sit a while after you are done using them.
This is the only thing I have seen like it on the market designed specifically for taking pictures of small items all in one kit, and to sum it up, it does the job perfectly. Just make sure you of other camera support arrangements if you choose to use a SLR.

Uniden Bearcat BC72XLT Scanner programabilityI did not do enough research before buying this scanner. You cannot connect it to a computer to program. Everything has to be manually programmed. It arrived blank. It is not user friendly and takes quite a bit of work to learn how to program. It is not for new users, The scanner works well after you get it programmed,
This is a good scanner if you don't want to scan the PoliceI don't know much about scanners so I read all the reviews and download the manual, read it and found out that the police frequencies where pre-programmed for scan. So I figured I could scan police frequencies. Well they forgot to write the part that says that all police frequencies are coded and you can't hear a thing. So if you want to scan anything but the police this is your scanner.
This scanner is great for airplanes

o.k scannerThis is a good scanner if you do not mind having the 800 mhz unavailable. Easy to use. Good price. Long wait time if you need to return this item to Amazon. BC92XLT from J&R Electronics has the 800 mhz for $30 more.

NOT sold by Amazon - BEWARE of ElectrogalaxyThese batteries are NOT sold by Amazon. They are sold by an Amazon re-seller called Electrogalaxy. Please read the reviews of this company before purchasing. I do not recommend this company due to their poor return policy and terrible customer service. You have been officially warned. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ELECTROGALAXY.
Another Great Products From JAPAN!It last way longer than batteries from $1 store! Work long enough for digital camera too. Maxell batteries are amazing. One day we went to a trip and found ourself out of batteries for my sister's digital camera. Poor her, she had to dig her purse for old batteries to make sure they are really dead. All others are really dead, however she found out 4 of these used (initially dead) maxell batteries to work again for 4 pics shots(2-3 minutes). She took her children pictures. You know children are hard to stay still and follow directions so it took her that long to take 4 pics. I was like :O Great product!
Same as the rest!I can tell no difference in these batteries opposed to the high end. No more high priced dept. store batteries for me! As far as the electrogalaxy deal I have no idea, but these are sold thru Amazon.

Mute feature is inadequate designIf you're sitting on a call at home listening and don't want the kids and dogs to intefere... or on a cell phone in traffic, you don't want this headset. The MUTE only works if you hold the button down the whole time. The mute doesn't stay on. Needless to say this is unacceptable.
Panasonic cordless phone headsetThe headset is comfortable although it is not adjustable enough for me. It is too big and I have it set on the smallest settings. The sound is not loud enough for me. The mute feature is a big plus.
Perfect headset for me!I matched this model number up with the phone I have, and it is a perfect fit for the phone and for me. I stay on the telephone for lengthy conference calls most of my workday, and the headset types that go in the ear ended up causing soreness. This headset sits gently over my head with the earpiece lying on my ear. I'm told I can be heard very clearly without echo or fadeout. I would highly recommend this headset!

My mom loves these phonesI bought these phones for my 70 year old mother. She has a difficult time with most of the newer, smaller phones; both in setting them up and using them. Although the 62-page user manual intimidated her a bit, she was able to set this phone system up herself. She loves it--the big buttons, the speaker phone, and the special emergency 911 button! The telephone companies need to know there's a whole market of older folks out there who need items like this.

Excellent for the PriceI was looking for a relatively inexpensive set of noise-cancelling headphones for a long plane trip, and I stumbled across these in a retail store, and paid quite a bit more for the immediacy of getting them. The first pair I got off the shelf actually had a fault in them where the "singing" range was broken, but a replacement pair worked great.
First the noise cancelling -- it works and works fairly well for what it's designed to do. I don't know how many of you have been into a server room, but between air conditioners and five of six fans per computer, it generates a lot of noise. When the Noise Cancelling was turned on, there was a significant reduction in the noise level, although as some other reviewers have noted, some of the higher-toned noise still gets through. I'll post another note about the battery life when I do more testing (it takes a single AAA).
As for the comfort, it could certainly be a bit more comfortable, but I guess I have a small head or something as it wasn't too much of a problem for me over extended periods. YMMV! The cord, as other reviewers have noted, is definitely too short, and is of the type where one wire goes into each earpiece, as opposed to other types where the wire goes through just one earpiece. No volume control either, and that's worth a star being knocked off right there, as you're obviously going to be on the move with a pair of headphones such as this.
The sound was fairly well balanced, which one would expect from headphones costing as much as they did. I would probably rate their sound about equivalent to a decent $30 pair of sealed headphones. Nothing to write home about, but again, absolutely nothing to complain about. The bass was appropriate, the treble wasn't chinsy. All in all listenable, and when you throw in the noise cancelling, a steal compared to, say, the Bose equivalent, which have superb sound but cost a fortune.

These work very well for $35I bought these after shopping around for decent low cost noise reducing headphones. I mainly wanted them to use while mowing my lawn on my lawn tractor. I saw the Sony MDR-NC6 model that sells for about $60 in retail stores, but I didn't like the open air design. Closed ear cups do a much better job of blocking noise, without even having the active noise reduction circuitry. I also saw a cheap pair from Maxell ($30 at Wal*Mart), but read some bad reviews online. These work very well for me. I mainly listen to NPR talk shows. With my old sealed headphones, I had to turn the radio volume way up to overcome the mower noise. I didn't want to damage my hearing. The Philips phones do a very nice job of reducing the mower noise. With the noise reduction turned on, I increase the volume until I can hear what's being said. At that level, if I turn the noise reduction off, the mower noise comes way up and I can't make out the words. I thought the headphones might not be able to handle the high decibel levels from the mower without clipping or distorting. They seem to work just fine at reducing this very loud noise. I would guess they reduce the noise about 10dB. That doesn't sound like much, but in terms of voltage amplitude, it's getting rid of about 66% of the noise level (meaning about 1/3 of the noise remains). I also tried these in a building with a loud roof exhaust fan. It really drops the level down a lot. As far as comfort goes, I have no complaints. I can wear them for about 2-1/2 hours mowing the lawn. They don't push on my glasses and hurt like some sealed headphones I've had. They can get sweaty on 90 degree days. These look like they could break if they are handled rough (or sat on). Mine aren't broken, but have only used them carefully for about 9 hours so far. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because the power switch is difficult to find and move while wearing and they don't seem to be very rugged, otherwise they are a great deal for the money.
Work GreatI purchased these specifically for a trip to Europe and they are comfortable and function as expected. I agree with other reviews in that they do not cancel out a crying child or other higher frequencies. However, considering the cost, it is not justified to have such high expectations. Furthermore, if listening to music, most of the higher frequencies are cancelled out. For $36 + $10 for 2nd day shipping, the investment is well worth it. I will go on record that I am no expert, but the sound quality when connected to the airplane headphone jack was very nice. I will also try them with a CD player because I understand that some of the sound quality deficiencies can be related to various music sources. I read one negative review about NC headphones, which turned out to be a problem caused by an Ipod. I suppose there are always pros and cons depending on the use.

Good product for priceGreat picture quality. Sound quality could be better, but it's a worthwhile compromise for the 10" screen. Considering most of the 9" screens cost what this 10" screen does, you've got to be willing to sacrifice somewhere. I put it in the kitchen and it's not like I need a surround sound stereo in there anyway. The antenna for the radio could also be better, but I'm going to Radio Shack to pick up a better one. I still get reception, it's just poor on some of the AM stations. I don't know how well the TV tuner works because I hooked up the cable and it works fabulous. Great for watching the morning news over a cup of coffee.
