Perfect arm wall mount for Westinghouse LVM-42W2 LCD TV
Great mount, Great PriceThis mount works really great. Uses only one stud so you don't have to make a mess out of your wall. It looks good and is extremely strong. Very mobile, I was totally satisfied with it.
Looks good. Sturdy. I put this in my home bar and it looks great. It is solidly built. I could not find a stud in the correct location so I put a large rectangle of plywood on the wall, painted it, and attached the bracket to it. The tv covers it and everything looks great.

Not as advertisedThis product was advertised to be able to take to a conference, meeting and be able to record the speaker. I can not record anything unless my mouth is right up against the mic. Piece of crap and I paid over a hundred dollars. I sure feel like a sucker. I could have purchased a cheap recorder and got better results. Too much background noise, even when there was no other noise in the room. Good only as a personal microphone.

Low price, but . . .I do appreciate this box's functionality - I've got an old TV without composite video input (the red/yellow/white hookups); only a single coaxial input. This box let me hook up DVD player/XBox/whatever to the TV, and it worked flawlessly, but only for about three months. Now the connections within the unit itself are loose, and it's essentially useless. My feeling is that the reason this unit is so inexpensive is because it's shoddily manufactured. I'd shell out a little more for the Recoton version or maybe Radioshack's version. Just know that this will probably die before a year is up.
Does What It's Supposed To DoI just got this unit to replace a TERRIBLE Terk Mini Modulator (don't buy, don't buy, don't buy) and the Philips product works great. Picture and sound quality are much better than I expected. It's nice to find something with a price this low that works this well.
Great little device, at the lowest price out there!I'm very happy with this purchase, and so far have not had any technical problems with this RF modulator. I have an older TV that cannot be directly connected to a DVD player. Since the TV is still in great condition, it seems a waste to buy a new TV just to be able to connect my DVD player. Buying this RF modulator was a great, and cheap, solution. After I bought this on Amazon for around $9, I saw the same item at a "discount" super-store for around $17. I recommended this to a friend, and he's happy with it so far, too. At this price, it can't hurt to give it a try!

Works Just FineThe phone works fine but is a little complicated to navigate through the phone book. I could not figure out a way to add caller id numbers to the phone book automatically like I can on my cell phone.
Awesome PhoneThe features and clarity of this phone are excellent. It replaced an 8 year old 1st generation 2.4GHz phone and the difference was amazing. The phone features Caller ID on Call Waiting and Call Waiting Deluxe which give you flexibility in answering incoming calls. According to Uniden Customer Support, this phone features Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) as opposed to the older Digital Spread Spectrum (DSS) for better security and clarity. One of the features is you can add up to 3 more DCX 750 or the older DCT640 handsets to the base if you need them. The phone is an adequate size, similar to Nokia cellphones of about 6 years ago. I haven't had any problems with interference from the home wireless network either. If you need a basic cordless phone then this is for you.

Easy to Install, Watch.. Software could be a tad betterThis is my first PC TV Tuner. It was really easy to setup, had it up and running in 5 minutes or so. I've just set up some scheduled recordings for tomorrow morning so I'll see how that works. So far I think I'm going to like it. I'm primarily going to use it to record shows to watch on my IPod. I don't see watching TV on the computer that often. ONe thing is I wish you could have a "Keep on Top" option on the TV screen. That way you could make screen small and be surfing or whatever and still have the screen up.
Leads me to next point. So far I'm not a huge fan of the software. To me its not very intuitive. Initially, I tried scheduling a show w/ the "InstaMedia" software and it was painful. You had to scroll the time by minutes when setting up, you couldn't type it in directly. Then, I decided to use the other software it came with, "Video@home" and that was easier to do. I guess the "InstaMedia" software is prob. mainly for making DVDs b/c it doesn't have a nice "floating" TV screen, its all part of the app which is maximized. Also, when you are first bringing up the software to watch TV, it takes a while to initialize, probably a good 30 seconds. Also, like the other person said, the time-shifting isn't like I expected. I think I should just have to hit "Pause" and it pauses and starts time-shifting. But you have to select it from a menu item to begin time shifting.
Even though I've written more on the negatives, I do like it so far. For the money, you can't beat it. I originally wanted to get the Hauuppauge WinTV USB 2.0 but that required Windows XP Media Center. I just have XP Personal Edition. But for $99, I don't think I could have done better. The software is lacking a little but it does the job. Just a few quirks, nothing major.

Good productInstallation is very easy and only takes about 5-10 minutes. It is very easy to watch live tv, but it is kind of difficult to record and use the time-shift mode.

Best for the money! All around basic cordless phone with basic features. Perfect for someone needing the freedom from a cord.
Works great.I wanted a cheap portable phone to connect to my new Vonage service. The Uniden fit the bill. As a plus, the batteries are the same as my other Uniden phone.
Nice phoneI bought one of these to replace my trusty, indestructible Uniden of 7 years that did not have caller ID, and my experiences with the new phone don't come close to the negative reviews it has gotten--quite the opposite, actually. This is a nice, rugged phone with a light-up caller ID display and all the other features you would expect from a typical cordless phone. I haven't had any range or static issues. Sound quality is fine and battery life hasn't been a problem.

Simple, reliable and reasonably pricedThis system is not the most sophisticated or powerful you can buy, but it represents a great value for the money. I've had no trouble operating it after a reasonably quick and simple installation.
A great feature is the multi-disk changer. After you've tried it you will wonder how you did without it. The ability to move from disk to disk without having to re-insert them is a huge conveinience factor.
Highly recommended!

Great Sound, Great Unit, Great ValueI have this in the bedroom connected to a 13" TV (it plays DVDs as well as CDs). The sound is great and it has a classy understated look. I am thinking of buying one for my office and once for the garage.
QuestionFirst of all, let me say that I LOVE this stereo. Have had it for a year or two. I don't think you can do any better with this price range, and more. I highly recommend it.
I have a question - does anyone know whether this stereo plays dvd's of all regions? I tried to write JVC an email but didn't get any response.
Hopefully somebody has the answer!
Thanks.

Good Price for Good ProductI switched from a 3-Way radio shack splitter to the 4-way Monster Splitter and even though the signal is now split 1 extra time, the picture has improved on all TV's and the high speed internet speed has improved also. I though I was going to need an amplifier, but there was no need...Hope this helped
Best Splitter on the MarketI am using three of the Monster 2GHz splitters where the first (1:3) splitter input is connected to a Motorola Signal Booster (15 dB low noise amp) output. Two of the three splitter outputs are connected into Monster 2GHz 1:4 splitters, for a total of 8 outputs for cable runs to various locations throughout the house. The 3rd output (of the first 1:3 splitter) is reserved for the new Verizon FiOS TV data interface, i.e., a Motorola Network Interface Module 100 (aka NIM 100) providing data communications via the MoCA (Multimedia Over Coax Alliance) standard interface which communicates with the Motorola Set Top Boxes. Since the MoCA standard uses the higher frequencies, from 900MHz-1.5GHz, it is ideal to use the 2GHz bandwidth splitters, to ensure low loss for data transmission across all splitters and cable runs. Also, the Monster splitters pass the signals in the reverse direction, so these work well with Cable Modems, which operate at the lower end of the bandwidth. Bottom line, the Monster 2GHz splitters are the best on the market.

Just to clarify how splitters work and dB loss...The review below about the Adelphia splitter working better than this one is misinformed. All splitters cause signal loss of the split signal -- this is unavoidable (unless the splitter also has a powered amp). Typically this is approximately 3.5dB per split (for 1GHz or less, more above that). The Adelphia splitter was no doubt a 3-to-1 split: the incoming signal was split once and one of the split signals was split again. Thus one output is -3.5db and the other two are -7dB (2 x 3.5). What the Monster splitters do is split the input evenly across all outputs, which really only helps when there are 3 outputs resulting in a -5.7dB drop across all outputs instead of one -3 and two -7. The 2- and 4-way splitter outputs are the same as you'd get from Adelphia or otherwise (either split once or split twice). Clear as mud?
The extra bandwidth (up to 2GHz, most splitters are 900MHz or 1GHz) is another reason these splitters are preferrable to the cheapies.

All Pros (no Cons):
- Easy to install (only two large holes in wall)
- Sturdy (no fear of TV crashing down)
- Moves smooth and is simple to adjust tension of outward arm movement or up/downward tilt
- Great price (as compared to other arm wall mounts that can handle up to 80 pounds)
